The Guilherme Paraense Multi-Purpose Arena, popularly known as "Mangueirinho," is the first in Pará and one of the only and most recent air-conditioned arenas in Brazil. It was built by the State Government on an area of approximately 23,000 square meters, within the sports complex of the Pará Olympic Stadium, "Mangueirão," located on Augusto Montenegro Highway in Belém.
